Mobile Feedback Application

This method is mainly used to collect emotions while using a mobile application. Collecting information about emotions during use becomes crucial not only for minimising the time lapse between experienced emotion and data collection, but also for capturing fleeting emotions which are followed by new emotional experiences during interaction. Here the users answer a question simply by selecting an emotion and send it to a number. A predefined question may pop-up on the screen in response to a timer or a programme event, such as after the user has completed a certain task. The positive experiences from using this method are that it is easy to use, results are in numerical form, it is easy to analyse. The negative experiences from using this method is that questions need to be carefully planned beforehand, questions need to be brief because they are presented on a small screen in a mobile usage situation, clarifications for the answers cannot be asked (Isomursu et al. 2007).
